What Are They Dealing With?
Let’s get practical. Think about what’s getting in the way for your audience. These are the things that are keeping them stuck, frustrated, or unsure of what to do next.
- What problems are they trying to solve right now?
- What’s slowing them down or making them feel overwhelmed?
- What’s that thing they keep talking about but never seem to figure out?
You don’t need a full research report to begin. Just reflect on what you’ve seen or heard from real people—your clients, community, or audience.
Why This Matters
Once you know their pain points, you can do two really powerful things: show them you understand and offer something that helps.
When someone feels understood, they trust you more. They pay attention. They feel like you get them—and that’s where real connection starts.
And here’s a bonus: people who are not a great fit tend to remove themselves from the conversation. That means less time convincing and more time with people who are ready.
Your Micro-Step
Write down the top three struggles your audience is facing. Be honest and clear. No need to make it fancy—just real and relevant.
Then ask yourself: how does your product, service, or message speak directly to one or more of those issues?
This list will become a go-to tool for your content, offers, and conversations.
